It's always a headache thinking of what to wear to a wedding. There is always a "what if I overdress?" or "what if I underdress?" when selecting what I should wear to attend a friend's wedding. Okay, I haven't been to that many weddings but here's what I wore to my friend's wedding and my bf's friend's wedding.
OOTD #1: Top + Skirt + Heels

I don't want to overdress as the limelight is supposed to be on the bride but I didn't want to underdress and look out of place too cause the wedding was held at a hotel. So I chose a top made of thicker material and a silk satin fabric skirt!
Tip: Silk Satin fabrics are a great choice of material for luxe skirts. If the wedding is extra important to you (eg. sister's/bestie's wedding), you can even purchase your silk satin fabrics from Tissura for a made to measure skirt that is one of a kind!
OOTD 2: Skater Dress + Shoes

It was my first time attending a Malay wedding and from what I understand, most are in dressed in their traditional attires. Since it was at a restaurant, we dressed a little more casually hence I went with a thick skater dress.
OOTD 3: Maxi Dress + Heels

I dressed a little more formally for this wedding as my bf was the groom's "brother". Since he is in formal attire, I need to dress up a little more as well? Went with this ombre maxi dress which wasn't overly formal as it was made of chiffon.
That's all for this post, and I hope it gives you some idea of what to wear to a wedding in Singapore! :)
