My fiancĂ© and I went to Japan earlier this month and we are glad we had our Roaming Man Wifi Device with us! For those who have not heard of the brand, Roaming Man is Singapore’s First Pocket wifi rental company that offers free delivery service to the doorsteps of the customers.

[Targus Transit 360 Edition] What's In My Weekend Staycation Bag?

Tuesday, 10 October 2017

I love short weekend trips cause that's when I really get to relax and I will spend lesser. I like to try to travel light if possible but trust me, I always end up with two bags. So recently, I brought my Targus Transit 360 Spinner with me instead and it's so much more convenient!

Finding Your Way Around Seoul!

Sunday, 11 October 2015

Los Angeles Week 5

Saturday, 11 October 2014

Well, week 5 in LA was quite a quiet week!
Either it was really quiet or I didn't take much photos :/

♥♥♥

Monday - 23 July 2012

Skipped class with my friends and had salad on the grass!
Anw, that was the only class we skipped in USA hahas.
Hardworking right?

Los Angeles Week 4 Part 2

Friday, 12 September 2014

I am back with part 2 of the post!
This part consist of mainly Hollywood related stuffs!

♥♥♥

Friday - 20 July 2012

Universal Studios Hollywood (USH)!
We went to the one in Florida already but the rest wanted to come here so we tagged along.
Photo from my camera which was surprisingly rather clear hahas.
Following photos from my DSLR!

Los Angeles Week 4 Part 1

Sunday, 31 August 2014

Back with another USA travelogue post!
Been rather lazy and kept procrastinating :/
But... I still want to record everything down!
Anyways, this is my second time writing this post!
Gonna write it with no date references (hope I get them right).
My first post got overwritten by me accidentally :(

For this Los Angeles Week 4, I'm gonna break it up into 2 parts!
Cause we didn't travel out of LA that week.
Part 1 will be mainly Santa Monica related.
Part 2 will be mainly Hollywood related.
Santa Monica is a city on it's own (I think) but Hollywood is only a district?
Initially I had no idea how I should label the post...
But since they are all inside LA, I shall just do it as a full LA week post!

Los Angeles Week 3

Sunday, 16 March 2014

I'M BACK WITH ANOTHER POST!
Really haven't been able to find the time to blog :(
This was drafted weeks ago. I merely added the summary photo before posting today.

Anyways this is gonna be a long Sunday to Sunday blog post!
Back in LA on a Saturday, spent Sunday resting (or I think there was an upcoming quiz).
Monday to Thursday spent in school.
Friday went to a theme park (six flags) in LA.
Saturday was shopping day.
Sunday was beach day cause the rest went to sky dive!
I wanted to sky dive but my dad threatened me -.-
He was like "if you go without my permission, i will ban you from traveling in the future". Boo.

Anyway, here are the details of the week!
P.S All my LA Week photos are mostly of a lower quality cause most were taken using my S2 then.

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

Saturday, 1 February 2014

So I went to HK sometime back and here's a what's in my travel makeup bag post!

All the items that I brought with me to Hong Kong.

San Diego Day 2

It's the carpark of...
Ok the header gave it away -.-

Mission Bay Beach!

San Diego Day 1

Saturday, 4 January 2014

No matter what, I have to finish my travelogues!
It's sort of like a diary for myself.
So no matter how back logged they are, I'm gonna finish them! =P
While you are reading this, I am already in HK.
Will be doing HK travelogues when I am back.
But no matter what I have to clear the USA ones first!
Aim to clear it before the two years mark opps.

So the last post was Los Angeles Week 2.
That was Monday to Thursday.
Friday (6th July 2012) - San Diego [this post]
Saturday (7th July 2012) - San Diego [next post]
Sunday we were back in LA so it will go into LA Week 3 ;)

♥♥♥

Another road trip! This time it's San Diego! :)
* warning: photo spam *

Los Angeles Week 2

Saturday, 23 November 2013

I'm back with another USA post.
It has been more than a year since I came back and I am still not done with my travelogues.

P.S Lots of photos ahead!
It's the same writing style as my previous travelogues.
But I didn't combine photos for this post.
Combining photos takes up a lot of time! Reason why I procrastinate.

[Review] Telecom Square International Mobile Wi-Fi Router Internet Services

Friday, 4 October 2013

Recently I made a short one-day trip to Malaysia!
You know how troublesome it is to go around and look for data card or wifi right?
And... how to survive a day without Twitter, Instagram and Facebook?!
#socialmediaaddict

It's super handy for those last minute google searches too.

Telecom Square Singapore rents out portable Wi-Fi router equipped with international SIM cards
at a flat rate of 15 Singapore dollars per day (includes GST).

Bangkok Day 5

Saturday, 14 September 2013

Woke up early in the morning to shop Pratunam Market.
Sadly, their Sunday stalls were horrible.
Can't find much that we like. I only bought one top.
The girls didn't even buy anything I think.
Their Saturday stalls were much much better!

Breakfast for our last day in BKK!
All bought from the Family Mart at the lobby of our hotel :)
The rice was not bad. The meat (that comes with the rice) and the takoyaki were weird hahas.
Love the Tao Kae Noi. Oh and they had Taecyeon on it =P
Kai Ru bought 6 packets (220bhat = SGD8) back to SG :)

Crepe time again!
They had good reviews online. But I think it's so-so only.
Think cause we had cold crepes instead of crispy ones!
And... it's better to share! We all couldn't finish one by ourselves!

Penn Crepe @ Platinum Mall B1

Alicia's hand carry back. Filled with 2 boxes of N95 masks and all our snacks :)

I ended up coming back to SG without hand-carry LOL!
My 7.5kg luggage was check-in with Alicia's.
And all my snacks were in Alicia's handcarry :)

We headed to the airport at 12nn after checking out of the hotel.
Our flight is at 8pm! They gave us an option to leave our stuffs with them while we shop.
But Kai Ru and Arvin suggested we go to the airport straight.

Reached the airport. Had like 4hours before the check-in time! :(
We sat down at some random spot and everyone started using their phones.
Slacked there for an hour plus then we went to walk around.

After that Kai Ru said there is a massage shop in the airport.
Then she and Arvin decided to go and try.
Alicia and I didn't like massages. So we didn't join them.
And basically, we didn't have anything to do!
Totally regretted not leaving our stuffs at the hotel and go shopping.

:(

When Kai Ru and Arvin were done, we still had about 1 hr to go.
Arvin and Kai Ru were feeling very cold and suggested going somewhere with hot soup.

So we settled to have soups in a restaurant called Fortune Corner.
Alicia and I shared Kimchi soup :) The soup was really spicy!
I don't think Kimchi was supposed to be that spicy?
When I asked them what time is the flight, I think Kai Ru replied should be 8.30pm.
Then all of us assumed that it is 8.30pm.

Finally it was time to check-in!
Girl here happily took photo of the ticket then kept it in her bag, not checking the flight time.
No one else checked too and we all assumed that it is 8.30pm.
To our horror, it is 8.05pm and no one knew!

Still can happily go Mango Tree (at area B) and have our last thai meal in BKK for the trip.
Anyways this shop's pad thai is the worst. No idea why some sites recommended it online.
It's so bland! Not even Aloy Thai standard! We had to add our own sauces for flavor.
Left the place at 7.30pm thinking that we have 1hr to walk to the gate.

Kai Ru and Arvin went to get ice cream, while Alicia and I were playing with the trolleys.
Then we went to the restroom thinking that we still have 45mins.
When we came out of the restroom, Kai Ru saw the board and say our flight had the Last Call sign!
Luckily Kai Ru checked the board! We heard the PA system saying something about last call
but it was in Thai and we don't understand at all!

Then we started running with our trolleys from area D to E which was very far apart!
Alicia and Kai Ru were running without trolley while Arvin and I were pushing the trolleys.
OMG really can die pushing the trolley and trying to squeeze your way through the crowd!

Then we reached the escalator where no trolleys are allowed.
Alicia and Kai Ru disappeared. Arvin and I had to carry all the bags!
It was worst for Arvin cause their bags were 5kg each!
Alicia and I only had a hand carry and our personal bags.
I ran down before Arvin and this person approached me and ask if we were flying to SG.
I was like "yes" and he said "come follow me".
Then we ran down all the slopes and stairs and finally reached the gate!
Then Alicia and Kai Ru came and get the bags from us lols.
They totally forgot they had bags hahahahas. Epic trip!

We board the plane at 8pm and didn't cause any delays. Thank god.
Imagine if we miss our flight, the next flight will be the next day at 8.05pm.
And I will miss my first day of special term in school hahahas.
Yes I have school the next day.

That's all for the BKK trip! It was really an experience hahas.

Bangkok Day 4

Monday, 2 September 2013

Morning breakfast we bought the day before at Terminal 21 :)

Pratunam Morning Market. Right outside our hotel, convenience much.
Not sure what time they open.
At about 7am, we peeped from our window and the stalls were already there.
We went down at 8am and most stalls were packing and closing by 9am.
Sadly, we didn't shop finish all the stalls before they closed :(
We were in a rush too cause we had to meet Kai Ru and Arvin at 9am.
We thought the Sunday stalls will be the same so we can come back the next day.
Who knows... it was completely different the next day!

530bhat for all these! Happy max! Only about 21SGD :)

Chatuchak Weekend Market!
They have lots of cheap pouches there :)

Tip: Walk to the deeper ends for cheaper stuffs!
The stuffs sold along the outer perimeter are slightly more ex.
Some of the shops at the deeper ends were ex too.
So well, it's really hard to say too.

Ohh! And we met Singapore's Minister of Transport there! Hahas.
The four of us saw him and we were like "Is it him? Look like lehh"
Then he approached us and asked if we were Singaporeans hahahas.
Guess he is used to such things happening.
He's really nice. Knew we were searching for N95 masks too and intro-ed his friend to us :)

His friend was super helpful and friendly too.
When we met him to collect the mask, he taught us lots of BKK tips :)
Some of which I've included in my BKK tips blog post.

We were walking around the place trying to find our dear coconut icecream.
Couldn't find it around the area but keep seeing people hold those coconut bowls!
End up they were along the food stretch which was super deep inside the market.
Complete opposite ends from where we came from I think.

The famous coconut icecream.
Alicia cannot take lactose. So she had to give this a miss :(
Arvin and I went for second serving though.
So nice and cooling! Super suited for this warm weather!

Photo on the left was my first serving.
Photo on the right was my second serving.
I was bloated after having 2 coconut ice cream and 2 cups of coconut juice. #fatdieme
The coconut juice was complimentary. It's so nice and sweet!
I'm not a fan of coconuts. I only eat coconut jelly/drink the juice and give the coconut to my family lols.

Kai Ru bought some fresh mango while Alicia bought a mango drink.
BKK's mangoes are super sweet!

We had nothing on our itinerary to follow already. So we headed to Lumpini park.

Took the swan boat ride.
When we were peddling halfway, we got stucked!
No idea what happened and Alicia and I panicked.
Then we spammed peddle and finally we started moving again *phew*
Then we met Kai Ru and Arvin again and they said they saw a cobra!
We were like OMG! Then after awhile they saw we were near the sprinklers,
and they started trying to push us into the sprinklers -.-
Look at how happy Kai Ru was hahahas.
Alicia and I were panicking and spamming the pedals.

It was time to go and park and return the boat.
Suddenly Kai Ru and Arvin say they saw the Cobra in the water again, near us!
We were like "where where", worrying that it will pop up beside us.
Then we faster pedal to park. End up it wasn't a cobra. It was a monitor lizard.
It was coming out of the waters. Still scary though.

Had nothing to do so we went to Siam Paragon.
Had Mcdonald's. Still bloated.
I basically wasted my drink and fries.
Only managed to finish the small little burger I ordered.

Atas cars in the building! We were wondering how those cars got there.
It's not even the basement or something. It was the upper levels!

There isn't anything to shop at Siam Center! All super atas one :(
So we headed back to our hotel to chill cause Arvin wasn't feeling well.

Buys from Chatuchak Weekend Market.
We didn't really shop much there cause we got lost.
Walk to random places, saw lots of room decos and fairylights that tempted me to buy them.
And we also saw cute puppies! Really tiny puppies. I think they were just born.
They aren't even supposed to be there. What if they still have weak immune? :(

Look at the traffic in BKK!
We were walking toward Pantip Plaza.

Dinner and A&W!
Alicia and I couldn't finish our waffle.
Super full. Still bloated from my coconut overload.
Lesson learnt - don't spam too much coconut hahahas!

That's the end of Day 4.
Next will be Day 5, our last day in BKK for this trip!
Find out what epic thing happened to us in that post ;)

Bangkok Day 3

Thursday, 22 August 2013

We wanted to visit the floating market.
Headed to Taling Chan Floating Market cause it was the nearest.
Reached there then we realized that floating market aren't open on weekdays!
There are still tours available though. But just for some sightseeing.

Cabbing to our next destination.
Yes. Cabbing as usual. Actually we were quite lucky.
No matter what time we travelled at, we didn't really face any jams.

I think this is a BTM?
It looks like our MRT station.
But they have a lot lesser stations.
So they can't really bring you everywhere.
Walked pass this while going to Terminal21 :)

Terminal21! Pretty umbrella decos :)

Jump jump!
All 3 of us girls too one shot each =P
Photo thanks to alicia's DSLR. Photo stolen from FB so abit low quality.
And abit zao geng (exposed) when I had this shot hahas.
But well... I got safety shorts underneath.
Reason why I always wear safety shorts when I have dresses/skirts on.
Well I photoshopped till you can no longer tell that i got zao geng hahas.
Photoshop rules! =P

When you are at terminal 21, you have to visit every single level's toilets hahahas!
Cause they have super pretty themed toilets for each level =P
We started from the top level.

Hollywood! That's the cinema level.
Only the last photo was taken in the toilet =P
Anyways we were there about 11am and the mall was empty hahas.

Hello San Francisco! I miss you much! :(
Middle photo is the toilet photo.

Level 4. I think it's also San Francisco?
And they have a bakery themed toilet there.

Visited till Istanbul and we got hungry hahahas.
So we went back up to San Francisco level!

Terminal 21, Pier 21 Food Court
Time for some food!

Pad Thai and Thai Ice Tea! My two fav! :)
Food at Terminal 21 Food court is super cheap.
Pad Thai only 50bhat ($2) and it taste like Aloy Thai Pad Thai =P

Thailand is famous for their mango sticky rice. But... I don't like it at all :(
Don't like the coconut or whatever syrup that they pour over the rice.
The mango was super fresh and sweet though :)
Hmmm and I didn't like their green curry too.
It's not thick at all and super oily.
Those who know me well should know I don't like oily stuffs.
The rest didn't like those two dishes too.
So... we have the same taste when it comes to food! ;)

Done with food, continue with photo spamming =P
Next location: London!

When you see brick walls, take OOTD photos =P

Outfit of the Day
Cardigan: H&M
Dress: Cotton On
Slippers: Havaianas
Bag: Random online shop

I want to go to the real London too! :(

Next up: Tokyo

Ohhhh btw, clothing at each level suites the theme too! ;)

Next, to Paris!
No Eifel Tower though.

When we reach Paris it was kinda crowded already.
And the toilet stinks. So no pic =P
From here onwards, we stop visiting toilet already. Hahahas.

Rome :)

Caribbean :)

Then we went back to Tokyo and bought some ice cream along the way.
That's all for Terminal 21. The things there are expensive.
We went there to see the themed building only.
Didn't really buy much there.

Went back to Platinum Mall to shop!
Had wanted to search for bags so we went to the accessories level (5th floor),
thinking that bags should be considered accessories.
But their accessories are purely accessories like hair ties, hair bands.
AND WE FOUND PRETTY HAIR GARLANDS!
Something that I've been wanting to buy but they are so expensive online.
Not something that I really need or I will wear out, just buying cause it's pretty.
The small floral ones which I bought are only 130bhat each :)

Street food time!
The fish was super super fresh! It's a must have!
The rest were just normal.

Then we went back to our hotel - Baiyoke Sky Hotel for their Sky Observatory.

On the way up to the revolving roof deck.
Guess what we found? Pressed penny machine!
My favorite hahahas. Got a whole collection of it in USA =P
So naturally, I made two here as well ;)

Up on the revolving deck. It's super bright up there.
The LED lightings were supposed to be showing words.
But you are so near it till you can't tell what it says =P

At their bar :) Pretty chairs!!! So... spam pics again!

Thing I bought from Day 1 to Day 3.
This is saddening. I'm no longer a shopaholic.
I only buy like that in BKK lehh!
Oh and the photo of the right is the mess I made while taking the left pic.
Roomie says I should take a photo of the mess too hahahas!

Accounting time!
Did this till past 12mn! We started at like 10+pm! Had issues tallying. LOL!
All our cabs and sometimes food were shared costs but one person pay first.
So we had to tally this at the end of afew days so we can return the money.
We didn't have the common fund/pool of money thing cause no one wanted to keep hahas.

That was all for Day3!
Anyways we returned back to the hotel rather early everyday.
Always about 9+ we are back in hotel already.
Except for day 1 cause we went out for late dinner.
Will be blogging about Day 4 soon! :)
